Taming the Dragon
China's continuous aggressive behavior has proved the impotency
of India’s foreign policy. It is
time to burn the foreign policy books deeply influenced by the Nehru. Unless
& until India frees herself from this Nehru-influenced strategic (?)
thoughts, India can’t tame this dragon (forget about leading the world). India
needs following course of action to make this dragon dance to our tunes –
1. First let it make clear to China that dragon exits only in fairy tales. And that only Chinese travelers
& dentist are acceptable!
2.
Tibet
belongs to India. India doesn't recognize Chinese occupation of Tibet. And India has first & foremost right over Tibet – be it
historical, cultural, religiously or love of Tibetan people towards India. It
is India’s obligation to safeguard the Tibetan cultural & religious
heritage.
3. Let China know that India’s sphere of influence exists from Gulf of Eden (in the west) to Sumatra
(in the east).
4. Help all the states feeling insecure by China
viz. Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, etc by all
means including nuclear & defense.
5. Make strategic alliance with Japan, Australia, South
Korea & the above countries of South East Asia.
6. Circle this rogue
state from all sides & thus bring her to knees.
7. Forget 1962 (Nehru’s foolishness). It is
not going to bring confidence in China. Remember they have deep mental scars of
“Chinese slaves by Europeans” & “Japanese treatment of China at the time of
2nd world war”.
8. Apply heavy duty on Chinese goods. There is an
enormous negative trade balance in favour of China. In fact we
are financing the Chinese military with this negative trade balance!
9. Cut this rogue China into pieces – e.g. support separatist
of north-western region of Xinjiang.
10.
Help free Chinese people from the clutches of
Communist. Support the democratic movements in China.
These points just provide an idea on how to
make this dragon dance to our tunes. Hope our strategic thinkers will
free themselves from past & take new look towards China on the above lines.
